This book consists of a series of articles written by the author on various athletes and "unusual" sporting activities. Some of the activities I did not find interesting (such as hunting). On the other hand, there is a long section about Tommy Caldwell's amazing free climb of the Dawn Wall on El Capitan in Yosemite. This section has frequent repetitions, and on the whole is not well written. Overall, I found the book to be a disappointment. Amazing stories and an amazing writer. Have enjoyed all of John Branch’s books.
